CHEAP THRILL (facebook)rocked the Raleigh, NC Whiskey Room with classic Cinderella, Collective Soul, and Brandon Gibbs original music to celebrate Go Live Plus (facebook)anniversary party.
They even surprised me at the end of the show with an awesome rendition of the REO Speedwagon tune “Roll With the Changes.”
Members(playing at the Whiskey Room):
Brandon Gibbs (guitar and lead vocals) – played in the Gibbs Brothers Band.
Eric Brittingham (bass and vocals) –played in Cinderella band
Cheney Brannon (drums/vocals) – played in Collective Soul band
Joel Kosche (guest guitarist ) – played in Collective Soul band
These guys are seasoned rockers that put on a great show that is worth seeing. The band and the crowd were rocking in unison all night long. Check them out at a music venue near you.
The Cheap Thrill: Whiskey Room Raleigh 5/31/2014 gallery has all the photos from this show.
After opening at the beginning of the year, the Raleigh Whiskey Room at its current location was a great venue to see these classic metal bands in Raleigh. It felt like a rock n’ roll “Cheers” where everyone knew your name.
Recently, the building was sold by the building owner and he bought out the club owner’s lease. The club owner is now engaged on finding a new location for the club.
He assures everyone that this is not the last time that you will see a iteration of the Whiskey Room in Raleigh, NC.
Here are some of the my favorite shots from that night .
